Responsibilities:- Accountable for proposals and purchase order review and approvals to clearly define and execute the program quality requirements via program quality plans, including AS9102 FAI’s.
- Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability of program requirements.
- Manage program warranty returns, applicable metrics and drive holistic root cause and corrective action (RCCA) to reduce warranty returns and costs to improve operational productivity and product design.
- Manage customer scorecards and applicable Quality Initiatives with department functional leadership.
- Design and implement methods and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of products and production equipment by collaborating with functional organizations to drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze reports, data, and returned product to drive root cause and implement correction actions for procedural, product or process opportunities.
- Provide coaching and leadership to quality engineers, inspectors and other functions.
- Participate in material review board (MRB), corrective action board (CAB) and production team meetings.
- Permit effective inspection and testing of materials including AS9102 FAI approval.
- Perform statistical analysis on products to determine the patterns seen and unseen providing insight to the lifecycle of the product. Initiate correction action for procedural, product or process deficiencies.
- Participate in safety training and actively comply with safety policies and practices.
- Improve and maintain 6S in your area, make suggestions for improvements.
- Participate in Lean/Six Sigma activities to enhance cross-functional problem solving.
Minimum:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics and Three (3) + years' experience; or, Master's degree in related field of study and One (1) years' experience.
- Two (2) years' experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred
- Three (3)+ years in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Aerospace & Defense Industry.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and MIL-STD-883.
- Experience in Aerospace & Defense Industry.
- ASQ Quality Engineer Certification (CQE).
- Experience with Quality Tools – Problem Solving Methodologies, APQP, FMEA, DMAIC, Change Management.
- Electrical engineering experience with hybrid assembly or micro electronics
- Perform work of high complexity; using discretion and judgment to develop processes and procedures for continuous improvement.
- Training and successful application of lean principles.
- Lean Six Sigma Experience.
- Experience in industrial RF microwave manufacturing.
Salary Range: $81,300 - $115,494 annually. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as business results.
