Quality Engineer - Middlefield, Ohio - JOB 24-00318
Salary Range: $60k - $80k Permanent Position with Benefits.
Middlefield, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Quality Engineer with strong knowledge of inspection processes and inspection measuring equipment in a precision machining environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.

Middlefield, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Quality Engineer with strong knowledge of inspection processes and inspection measuring equipment in a precision machining environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School graduate (Trade school, Associate or Bachelor degree is a plus.
- Past experience / knowledge as a metal machining Quality Engineer to evaluate and report risk management, corrective and preventative action, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, quality planning and inspection processes.
- ISO 13485 / ISO 9001-2015, , ISO 13485 Quality Management knowledge strongly preferred
- Implement and manage quality strategies, control plans & inspection documents
- Qualify suppliers and incoming products
- Knowledge of SolidWorks and Excel to produce create inspection documents & drawings as needed
- Familiar with GD&T, profiles, true position, datums (reference frame s), etc.
- Specify layout, optical comparator, micrometers, height-stands, indicators, calipers, thread gages, V-blocks, etc
- Program / Operate the Micro-Vu Vertex vision system, Mahr Electronic Height Gage, and Mitutoyo Contracer as needed for inspections
- M-F, 7am – 3:30pm
