About the Job
- Work as the point of contact for quality related aspects.
- Review submittals as necessary.
- Conduct Walkthroughs and identify quality issues.
- Identify NCRs - know the contract and identify deviations from the contract.
- Review and conclude all NCRs including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, and implementation of corrective and preventive action.
- Conduct audits of the contractor.
- Conduct audits of PMT roles and responsibilities.
- Review all field inspection reports from the PMT and the Contractor.
- Review all material inspection reports to confirm conformance to contract.
- Provide training in Quality to all incoming staff.
- Review special inspection reports and track all issues through to closure.
- Manage and track all as-built and record drawings.
- Participate in FATs and site tests for all equipment.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in an engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration or public administration OR Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and 2 years' experience.
- Two or more years' experience in project management commensurate with level of education, with one year having served in a supervisory capacity or one year as a project manager for a large and/or complex construction project. Quality management experience preferred.
- OSHA-30 certification is required prior to starting the position.
- Knowledge of capital construction procedures.
- Knowledge of the various project delivery methods.
- Knowledge of transit operations and practices preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
