JOB DESCRIPTION
Individual contributor position responsible for routinely performing evaluations and supporting inspections of finished products or components for compliance. May work directly with suppliers to determine compliance of processes to established specifications. Prepares and maintains appropriate reports and analysis of findings. Reports non-compliance to team or takes appropriate action when data indicates non-compliance. Collaborates with suppliers and appropriate cross functional teams to develop and share quality expectations with suppliers.
Overall QA RESPONSIBLITIES:
Perform targeted audits and determine audit cadence based on statistical analysis
Maintain and analyze audit data and dashboard
Evaluate test data gathered or received by supplier for compliance to standards.
Provide technical and investigative support to vendors and cross-functional partners.
Run reports to support Quality Dashboard, assist in process improvements on the maintenance of data, run reports as requested, compile/maintain data
Assist in creating design of experiments to support quality investigations
Quality Control Issue Management:
Perform audits on product within the DC s and suppliers and provides team with disposition and detailed report if requested
Collect and record data using basic measuring tools.
Evaluate data for trends leading to Corrective Actions.
Perform QC evaluations on individual products as compared to standards and provides team with disposition and detailed report if requested.
Perform testing on products to support quality investigations and failed audits
Assist in root cause analysis for audit findings and quality investigations
Use systems to lock/unlock articles for audit, run inventory reports, analyze reports, coordinate sorts and support Quality Manager on issue management.
Assist in creating rework or sort instructions and criteria
Issue quality notifications and follow up for corrective actions
Provide technical root cause analysis support to vendors and cross-functional partners.
Vendor Performance
Provide support to worldwide contract manufacturing operations.
Will assist as needed to support program under guidance from Quality / Engineering Manager
Perform inspections of merchandise to determine acceptability of product and compliance to specifications.
Attend production runs to audit product and confirm lines are running as expected
