Quality Engineer - Intelliswift Software Inc

Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid – 2/3 days onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Contract Type: W2 only
Pay Rate: $59.34/Hour
 
Duties:

• Work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced Engineering team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication and decision-making.
• Become an expert in the Lightroom Mobile iOS Growth campaigns and features.
• Work closely with QE peers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers in defining and developing features.
• Define quality standards and build a cohesive strategy for testing Lightroom features.
• Perform functional and workflow testing including end-to-end testing as part of the Lightroom ecosystem, using a variety of testing tools.
• Help the team increase its skills and capabilities by creating knowledge sharing opportunities and supporting others via mentoring.
• Participate in user reviews and forums management.
• Monitor releases, logging, and analytics of owned features.
• Implement plans for defining and improving quality metrics.
• Work with the team to help evolve and drive software quality and delivery process improvements.

 
Skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience testing mobile software through full release cycles.
• Working in partnership with marketing on user engagement strategies is preferred.
• Mastery in manual exploratory testing of sophisticated software products.
• Mastery in the creation and documentation of software testing strategies.
• Expertise with agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with testing iOS apps and cross-product workflows.
• Real passion for building world-class applications that customers love.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using HTML, JIRA, Charles Proxy, XCode, GitHub, Jenkins, Splunk, Adobe Target, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Branch.io and analytics tools like Adobe Analytics / Omniture, Tableau, Google Analytics, or Crashlytics is preferred.
• Experience with data driven development methodologies and mobile A/B testing techniques is preferred.
• Experience setting up or testing Adobe Journey Optimizer in-app message or push notification campaigns is preferred.
• Experience testing deep links is preferred.
• Photography and/or Adobe Lightroom experience is a plus.

 
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
