Quality Engineer - Nesco Resource, LLC

Well-established corporation in the Capital Region is looking for a talented engineering professional to join its Quality team.  Due to continued growth this industry leader is in search of a Quality Engineer to help support its daily operations and long-term projects. Some of the general responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Lead and participate in quality improvement projects for products and processes.
• Facilitate training related to quality and develop training material as required.
• Develop work procedures to improve quality goals and eliminate waste for the site
• Maintain the Quality Management System and all quality records
• Assist operations and engineering with defining appropriate manufacturing processes & procedures
• Review and analyze CMM layout reports and recommend changes as required.
• Plan and perform internal process audits.

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
• 2+ years of engineering experience with significant exposure to quality
• Experience implementing lean improvements (Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, etc)
• ISO9001 compliance and audit experience preferred
• Excellent communicative and organizational skills
