As a Sr. Quality Engineer, you'll manage and execute quality-focused engineering and operational projects, ensuring products meet technical specifications and user needs. This includes developing quality plans, inspection methods, and process controls to maintain product and system compliance throughout their lifecycle. You'll lead initiatives in advanced quality planning, process optimization, data analysis, lean methods, complaint resolution, training, and audits to foster continuous improvement and reduce waste. What You Will Do
As a Sr. Quality Engineer, you'll manage and execute quality-focused engineering and operational projects, ensuring products meet technical specifications and user needs. This includes developing quality plans, inspection methods, and process controls to maintain product and system compliance throughout their lifecycle. You'll lead initiatives in advanced quality planning, process optimization, data analysis, lean methods, complaint resolution, training, and audits to foster continuous improvement and reduce waste. Key responsibilities include:
- Quality Planning: Lead or contribute to quality planning using tools like FMEA, process capability analysis, control plans, DFx, product lifecycle planning, supplier qualification, and PPAPs to ensure requirements are met or exceeded.
- Reliability: Integrate reliability principles into specifications and test plans. Address human factors impacting quality, including ergonomics, corrective actions, and the change acceleration process.
- Quality Control: Develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet or exceed customer requirements. Lead internal and external quality audits, manage supplier quality, and apply statistical methods for product and process control.
- Continuous Improvement: Solve quality issues using structured problem-solving, corrective actions, and root cause analysis. Apply metrology and statistical methods to improve quality, analyze inspection data, and generate actionable improvement reports.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide quality training across functions and mentor less experienced engineers and technicians.
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Required Experience: 5-7 years.
- Required Certifications: ASQ CQE or equivalent within 18 months of hiring
- Preferred Certifications: ASQ CRE, CSQE, or CSSBB.
- Proficiency in FMEA construction, root cause analysis, corrective actions, complaint resolution, Minitab, Excel, and PPAP construction.
- A good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949.
- Experience with complaint resolution and continual improvement.

- The expected annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
