Quality Engineering Manager
The Manager, Quality Engineering will be responsible for leading the Quality Engineering teams that supports the Arens Williams Business Unit.
The incumbent will be responsible for all product related Quality Engineering activities with a goal to minimize cost of quality while maximizing customer satisfaction through the delivery of on-time, high quality, highly reliable product. A passion for root cause analysis and corrective action, a demonstrated ability to implement and drive a robust supplier quality program, as well as experience effectively driving quality into the product development process will help define the right candidate for this position.

Your Challenge:
+ Manages the Quality Engineering teams
+ Drives the CAPA process through the organization, including implementation/improvement to tools, training, and metrics
+ Manages the Customer Quality process, ensuring quick response and effective corrective actions on customer raised SCARS, audit findings and feedback obtained through the CSI process
+ Manages the Supplier Quality process (including performing quality audits and administering the SCAR process)
+ Manages the Incoming Inspection and MRB process in an efficient and effective manner to keep material flowing and drive reductions in product scrap through lessons learned
+ Leverages a strong foundation in Six Sigma methodology to support continual process improvement and product yield investigations in support of improving customer satisfaction
+ Provides QA support on the implementation of Engineering Change Orders, Program Instructions, Waivers and Material Substitution Requests
+ Represents Quality at monthly & quarterly Business, Operations and Quality Reviews
+ Supports 5S, IMDS, & ROHS Management programs as required
What you bring:
+ 10+ years quality experience in a manufacturing company, automotive experience preferred. Experience with electro-mechanical systems desired.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
+ Demonstrable leadership skills and people management capability
+ Experience with the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2000 and/or IATF 16949 applied to both manufacturing and product development
+ 8D or other structured problem solving methodology expertise, with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
+ Strong analytical skills; use data to drive decisions in a timely manner; attention to detail
+ Experience interfacing directly with major customers on Quality issues.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
