Performance Friction Corporation (PFC Brakes) is currently searching for a full-time Quality Engineering Technician to join their team headquarters in Clover, South Carolina.

- Pay: $75,000 - $83,000 per year, offer dependent on experience
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Zeiss Calipyso software/programming
- PC DMIS software/programming
- Quindos 6 and 7 software/programming
Experience that will make our QET’s successful:
- 4-year Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
- 10 years of previous experience with CMM
- Completed ISO9001 training or Has ISO9001 auditing experience
- Previous CAD experience with CMMs
- Tier 1 customer service experience
- Proficiency with Pro-Link Statistical software
Our Quality Engineering Technician will:
- Assist in defining safety standards and productivity standards for new or existing manufacturing processes
- Process Owner to drive process improvements, improved quality, and lower cost of manufacture
- Process capability to analyze ‘Best Practice’ and implement at all levels
- Assist in establishing quality standard and procedures for new and existing manufacturing processes
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams to define continuous improvement strategies for manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements or to enhance product quality or manufacturing productivity including but not limited to Applications Engineering and Quality Engineering departments
- Assist in the creation or modification of employee training
- Perform machine design, continuous improvement and /or re-design
