SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Inspector will focus on the day to day aspects of quality assurance in the manufacturing process. The inspector will make decisions regarding the acceptability of our product. The inspector must have adequate skills in hand held measuring devices and be computer literate. The inspector must have excellent interpersonal skills in order to resolve issues that arise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Preforms, based on the in process quality audit check sheet, daily audits on the manufacturing process.
· Resolves quality related issues in the manufacturing process, while working closely with operators, group leaders, supervisors, and various departments to achieve results.
· Performs product testing as required (i.e. – monthly oven tests, static load, impact, NDT, etc.)
· Works closely with all departments to use team building exercises for real time problem solving.
· Works effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish company goals and to identify and resolve problems.
· Ability to multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
· Comply with all company rules, safety policies and procedures.
· Ability to continually prioritize tasks to be completed as requires.
· Self-starter and multi-task oriented. Able to work independently, as-well-as with others, as needed.
· Work effectively to identify and resolve problems or issues.
· Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of college and 2 years of quality related work in a manufacturing environment or related combination of experience, training, and education
