Quality Inspector 4th Shift - CONTRACTOR POSITION (2024-001 3PT) Astronics Subsidiary Astronics AES Location Kirkland, WA Description **Astronics Advanced Electronics Systems (AES)** is seeking a **Contractor, Quality Inspector - 4th Shift** in Kirkland, WA. 4th **Shift hours are Friday - Sunday 5:30 AM - 6:30 PM** **JOB SUMMARY** The Quality Inspector will work from blueprints, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures to perform a wide range of inspection procedures and determine acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements at various stages of production. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Works from drawings, procedures, and specifications utilizing non-complex measuring devices (where necessary) to perform inspection of purchased parts, materials, components, electronic hardware, and equipment as materials are received from vendors or subcontractors + Inspect in-process and/or finished production assemblies and subassemblies for conformance to drawings and quality assurance standards + Assists in determining methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for inspection + Interpret and apply the requirements of Industry workmanship standards, ES procedures and EPS procedures in Inspection process + Identify condition (problem) and write up Non-Conformances in clear concise way + Review validates and correct FAI paperwork from suppliers + May perform Shipping Inspection duties such as verification of shipping paperwork, part labeling, part count and packaging + Performs other duties as assigned **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** **Education/Experience:** + High school diploma or GED required + Demonstrates familiarity (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position) **Technical Skills:** + Quality Control Analysis - Ability to conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance + Familiarity with MS Office products to include the ability to use MS Excel at a beginner level + Ability to learn a variety of business systems **ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS** + As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). **Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible** . + An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing pre-employment background check and **drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis** . **Salary range is $20.12 - $27.22 per hour plus a shift differential for 4th shift.** Several job-related and non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience in comparable roles, skill sets, training, education, licensure or certifications, other qualifications, market conditions and business needs influence actual salary offered.
