Quality Inspector

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector for opportunity in Albany, Georgia.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. They are instrumental in assuring all production and quality standards are complied with.
• Ensuring all processes and procedures are in compliance with the Quality Manual.
• Inspecting products and materials for visible manufacturing defects.
• Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that products meet approved design standards and tolerances.
• Using inspection tools such as: calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, protractors, conductivity meters, Rockwell hardness testers, and measuring tapes to determine blueprint compliance.
• Completing required company forms and documents.
• Identifying products that do not meet quality standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality.
• Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team.

Qualifications and requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3 yrs. Manufacturing Experience
• A&P License
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals
• Knowledge of basic math and computer skills
• Ability to follow rules and regulations
• Strong work ethic and teamwork mentality
• Verbal and written communication skills
• The willingness to work overtime to complete required tasks
• Must pass pre-employment urinalysis and background check.
