Position Summary:
The Quality Inspector performs visual and dimensional inspections on machined components utilized in
the assembly of Aerospace and Industrial seals. Using various handheld and benchtop measurement
equipment this position ensures the compliance to both internal and customer dimensional
requirements. The candidate will be responsible for generating and completing appropriate
documentation such as dimensional inspection records, production routers, and non-conformance
reports.

- Pay rate: $18.00-22.00 hourly

Position Summary:
The Quality Inspector performs visual and dimensional inspections on machined components utilized in
the assembly of Aerospace and Industrial seals. Using various handheld and benchtop measurement
equipment this position ensures the compliance to both internal and customer dimensional
requirements. The candidate will be responsible for generating and completing appropriate
documentation such as dimensional inspection records, production routers, and non-conformance
reports.
Essential Functions:
- Performs In-Process and Final inspection on machined parts (Dimensional & Visual)
- Measures dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications
- Ability to interpret blueprints, work instructions, and other customer and industry specifications
- Understands geometric symbols and tolerances
- Use of standard measurement gages such as calipers, micrometer, drop indicators, etc.
- Discusses inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommends corrective actions
- Notifies supervisor and other personnel of production problems, and assists in identifying and
- correcting these problems
- Verify raw material lot number traceability
- Maintain well organized workspace
- Understand verbal and written instruction
- Flexibility based on changing production/shipment demands
- Execute other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of related inspection experience.
- Must be a US citizen or a US permanent resident.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Communicate effectively with others both verbally and in written form
- Act in a self-confident manner to facilitate completion of a work assignment
- Make decisions while following company procedures
- Attention to details
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity and conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards
- Work and interact well with others
- Process work in an efficient and timely fashion
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings (blueprints) is a plus!
- Technical school is a plus!
- Prior related experience is a plus!
Physical Requirements:
- Able to sit or stand frequently.
- Able to walk occasionally.
- Able to handle and grasp tools repetitively.
- Must be able to push/pull up to 10 lbs. constantly.
- Must be able to bend at waist, twist, squat and kneel/crouch frequently.
- Visual Acuity - Able to see close detail, distance and colors constantly.
- Able to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment constantly.
