Pay

$28-$38/Hour

Responsibilities

• Conduct As-Found, In-Process, and Final Inspections, measuring fits & sizes, runouts, clearances, etc., utilizing a wide range of metrology tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, portable CMM’s, and laser inspection.
• Compile inspection data via forms and PC software to support internal uses and customer final inspection reports.
• Inspect components throughout the rebuild and fabrication process to ensure conformance to O.E.M. and engineering requirements.
• Interface and provide support between departments and manufacturing personnel.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment, with expertise in measuring components for dimensional conformance to drawings and/or requirements.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical part & assembly drawings, understanding tolerances, drawing specifications, and BOM tables.
• Strong comprehension and proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD is preferable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
