Quality Inspector II - PrideStaff

PrideStaff has a great opportunity a Quality Inspector II for a company in Carlsbad, Ca.

The Quality Control Inspector will maintain company quality standards by inspecting incoming, in-process, and finished products, as well as recording inspection results. The QC Inspector will be the main inspector for critical programs, specific customers, or a specific industry. The Operations and Engineering teams rely on the QC Inspector as the main point of contact for inspection results and data.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Receiving, in-process, and final inspection of finished product across all technologies.
•    Ability to use hand measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
•    Ability to interpret drawings for dimensional and visual requirements.
•    Generate NCR’s for discrepant material.
•    Understanding of GD&T and ability to apply it to measuring parts.
•    Provides feedback to other departments on inspection results.
•    Documents inspection results using internal QA database, FAIRs, AS9102 FAIR, and NCRs.
•    Follows guidelines for using and maintaining measurement tools.
•    Provides feedback to the QA Manager and Senior Inspector on inspection issues.
•    Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities that may be assigned at any time.
