Are you a skilled Quality Inspector with a passion for precision and detail?

Location: West Springfield, MA 01089
Hours: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri, ~ 7:00 AM--3:00 PM or 8:00 AM--4:00 PM
Pay: ~ +/- $25--$34/hr [Negotiable, depending on experience]

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Minimum 4 years of quality inspection experience in a machine shop environment
• Experience with various materials (sheet metal, aluminum, stainless steel, polymers)
• Ability to prepare and read inspection reports and technical documentation
• Proficiency in reading blueprint drawings
• Skilled with measurement tools (micrometers, gauges, etc.) and understanding of GD&T
• Experience with first piece and final parts inspection

Preferred:

• CMM experience

Job Description:

• Review customer drawings and specifications
• Determine necessary inspection points
• Document inspection and test instructions and changes
• Maintain quality assurance records
• Follow up on quality assurance and corrective actions
• Inspect special and standard gauges, test equipment, and tooling
• Ensure inspection and test equipment calibration
