Selectek is seeking a Quality Inspector to work with one of our partnering companies in West Springfield, MA.
Location: West Springfield, MA
Type: Contract-to-Hire (Direct hire in 4-6 months)
Pay Range: $25-$29/hr (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Review customer drawings and specifications.
- Determine inspection points and document instructions.
- Maintain quality assurance records and follow up on corrective actions.
- Inspect and calibrate gages, test equipment, and tooling.
Requirements:
- US Citizen
- 4+ years of quality inspection experience in a machine shop
- Experience with materials like sheet metal, aluminum, stainless steel, and polymers
- Proficiency in preparing and reading inspection reports
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools (micrometers, gages, etc.)
- Understanding of GD&T and experience in first piece and final parts inspection
Schedule: Monday - Friday, first shift hours (8:00a - 4:00p)
