Quality Investigator
A CRG client in the Triad area is searching for a Quality Investigator to join their team! Our client is a globally recognized, multi-million-dollar international manufacturing company. They operate in over 150 countries and provide high-quality products and exceptional customer service to various industries. The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for conducting investigations of open service requests, reviewing, and closing approved quality notices, and performing inspection for service.
Opportunity: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $20-$23/hour
Location: High Point, NC - 100% on site
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for conducting investigations of open service requests, reviewing, and closing approved quality notices, and performing inspection for service.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations of open service requests and respond timely to customer service team with investigation results.
- Review and close approved quality notices in a timely manner.
- Ensures that nonconforming products related to quality notices are quarantined in a timely manner, and affected personnel is notified.
- Respond to inquiries pertaining to service requests, non-conforming products, and/or spare part requests.
- Collect and maintain assigned quality records and metrics.
- Periodically reviews quality notices in SAP, and inform management when trends occur.
- Process RMA???s including receiving, preparation for storage, and put-away.
- Perform first piece inspection for service including Bill of Material checks and item verification.
- Perform additional inspections and audits throughout the distribution process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3+ years of related quality control experience
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and self-management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
