Actual Position Title: Onboarding Specialist, CAR T
Location: Cell Therapy Operations Summit, New Jersey
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
This role is responsible for working on New Hire Orientation Program (NHOP) for the Summit West Cell Therapy Operations organization, as well as the accurate and timely processing of all training requests related to NHOP. The primary functions of this role include conducting orientation for new employees, opening tickets, and assigning training to new hires. This role also coordinates with HR, Recruiting, IT, and Department Managers in preparation for new hire orientation to compile the list of new hires, creation of building access and LMS accounts. Must have the ability to communicate information across all employee levels.
This role reports to the Onboarding Manager, supports the Cell Therapy Operations organization in Summit-West, NJ and is a member of the Quality Assurance Training & Learning Organization.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be confident in a public speaking setting for large groups of people.
Must be willing to be on-site every week for new hire orientation.
Must have basic GMP and Quality knowledge.
Must have Intermediate skills to navigate an electronic document management system (EDMS) and Learning Management System (LMS).
Must be able to properly communicate e-mails and routine business matters with management with high level of accuracy.
Must demonstrate basic writing skills.
Must be action-oriented and customer-focused and possess learning agility.
Excellent organizational and written skills.
Ability to work independently, have a high degree of accountability and accuracy of work.
Basic skills in design, development, and implementation of training.
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
5 or more years of relevant systems experience in aregulated industry required, preferably in Life Sciences.
Public speaking background, ideally in a new hire orientation setting.
Learning Management System (LMS) background preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts new hire orientation weekly or biweekly as needed to support the growth of Cell Therapy Operations in Summit-West, NJ
Opens tickets for building access, GMP access, and LMS assignments as needed
Organizes and prepares training course materials such as handouts, supplies and visual materials.
Collaborates with internal IT to provide training solutions support
Recognizes and resolves training discrepancies. Communicates any such occurrence and corrective action to affected personnel.
Reviews and approves accuracy of documents for training information and updates document effective dates through companies Electronic Document Management systems (EDMS).
Manages, schedules, and coordinates training for GMP courses.
Uploads training scores as appropriate into LMS.
Files all training documentation (hard copy) and provides general administrative support of department as required.
Contributes to completion of training system-related objectives as assigned.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS (US Only):
Intermittent walking and sitting to perform job functions; however, ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time may be necessary.
Physical dexterity sufficient to use computers and documentation.
Will be in primary office setup
