Quality Manager – New Product Industrialization
The Quality Manager for the NPI unit will be responsible for leading the development of the Quality Management System. The system will cover all aspects of how this business unit conducts business. As the QMS is established and documented, the Quality Manager will become responsible for managing all functional aspects of the system.
Description:
Lead the quality initiative for a new business unit with the goal of industrializing new products in a more structured and systematic approach. Responsible for developing the plans, procedures, and methods that will ensure that our quality
requirements are met. This will include implementing new processes and tools for supplier qualification, FAI activities, incoming receiving inspection, lot control, supplier performance, work instructions, manufacturing travelers, assembly and test procedures etc.
Qualification and Skills:
B.S. engineering or related field. Certified Quality Engineer/Auditor Preferred (ASQC) or equivalent business experience.
Minimum of 5 years in a Quality systems management role
Extensive knowledge and implementation experience of ISO 9001 quality systems
Experience with all aspects of quality assurance practices for both government and commercial sectors
Thorough knowledge of GD&T / Blueprint reading skills
Unquestionable integrity
Demonstrated leadership track record
Excellent communication, problem-solving, relationship building, and negotiating skills.
Certification in Lean / Six Sigma is a plus
