We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality department in maintaining compliance with IATF 16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 standards. As the Quality Manager you will maintain Tundra’s quality management system and documentation to meet regulatory requirements and corporate guidelines.
Essential Functions
- Maintain compliance with IATF 16949 (Automotive Quality Management System Standard) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
- Manage the internal and external audit program, including planning, conducting, reporting, and following up on audits
- Coordinate and oversee the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) process, including root cause analysis, action plan, verification, and closure
- Conduct Part Submission Warrant (PSW) requests and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submittals
- Facilitate Gage R&R, and MSA studies
- Provide direction to achieve regulatory compliance for key improvements that impact the quality management system
- Improve, develop, and implement procedures directly related to product quality
- Participate in new product development working closely with Engineering and Production departments, APQP
- Continuously improve the QMS and the quality culture of the organization
- Interact with customers, suppliers, regulators, and other stakeholders on quality matters
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering or mathematics field
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with advanced understanding of Excel
- Proficient in Minitab or other statistical software
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S
- 5+ years’ experience in an ISO Quality Management System
- Experience having led or have been a significant contributor for External Audit Certification
- Strong verbal, organizational and written communication skills with a high degree of flexibility and ability to communicate with diverse groups including engineering, operations, maintenance, and accounting.
- IATF 16949 experience Preferred
