Job Title: Micro Technician
Position Reports To: Assistant Quality Assurance Manager
FLSA Status: Hourly $18.25
- This is a permanent, full-time position that is eligible for enrollment in company benefits after 60 days and PTO after 1 year
Hours- 8:00am-4:30pm Monday - Friday

Position Purpose Summary: The Micro Technician is responsible for the collection, preparation, and documentation of finished product and environmental monitoring samples.
Principal Job Responsibilities:
- Serve the needs of customers and all stakeholders
- Adhere to all Food Safety and GMP Policies
- Collect and prepare finished product samples according to specification requirements
- Perform regular environmental monitoring testing
- Maintain organized documentation and logs associated with finished product and environmental testing and results
- Analyze and report testing results
- Other related duties as assigned from Quality Management

Education and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent: High School Diploma
- Years of experience: (preferred)
- 1 year food manufacturing
- 1 year of laboratory environment
- Certification: (preferred)
- HACCP
- PCQI
Physical Demands of the Position:
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, climb, stoop, for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
While performing duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to wet and slippery floors, occasionally moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud; variable temperatures of both heat and cold.
