Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm Mon - Fri
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in a Quality role, preferably within a manufacturing or facilities management environment.
- Field-Specific Experience: Experience in quality control and assurance within the facilities management or manufacturing sector.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, Six Sigma, and other quality management systems would be beneficial. Someone experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Certification in Six Sigma or ISO Auditing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand, comply with, and communicate company EHS and Quality processes
- Standardized Work (generally janitorial)
- Assist in Analyzing Standardized Work (Janitorial -related) to help eliminate waste and find efficiencies.
- Learn the client Scope of Work and help advise our site leadership
- GM-GMS (Global Manufacturing System)
- Quality Audits
- New Hire and Refresher Quality relate Safety/Environmental Training
- Coach managers on quality/safety responsibilities.
- Demonstrate processes in Supervisor Safety Book
- Assist with business plan deployment (BPD)
- Assist with GM-GMS (Lean) calibration
- Assist with calibrating quality audit standards
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards; ISO 9001 requirements, OHSAS 18001 requirements; ISO 14001 requirements; and customer and company rules and policies.
- Play lead role in transitions to new customers
- Assist with the development of standardized work and pre-task safety plans
- Deliver required training programs for all employees
- Manage classroom environment - Keep control of class, defuse inflammatory comments and questions
- Ensures training records and other documents are maintained per company procedure.
- Promote continuous improvement
