Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the Food Safety and Quality Systems (FSQS & SQF) through daily verification of production and product release records, facility inspections, and documentation management.
- Oversee the Positive Release System, including generating Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and managing supplier documentation and approvals.
- Participate in training programs, sanitation schedules, and both internal and external audits while managing the Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) program.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify food safety and quality issues, investigate customer complaints, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in the food industry or a third-party laboratory environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with GFSI audits (BRC or SQF), HACCP/FSP, and PCQI certifications preferred.
