Reporting to the shift supervisor, the Quality Technicians work closely with Manufacturing and other support departments to communicate compliance, monitor product quality, maintain quality records, quarantine suspect material, and resolve quality related issues. What you will be doing: Properly prioritize activities and projects. Reviews, understands, and follows the inspection control plan for manufactured items Instructs and advises the Manufacturing staff on the specific requirements of each job. Coordinates, conducts and records First Piece and In-Process Inspection and Testing Monitors the production process and collects dimensional data. Maintains all inspection and testing records, coordinates record retention Quarantines all non-conforming products and raw material as per inspection control plan. Understands and ensures proper packing standards. Effectively utilizes testing and measuring equipment including: scales, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, magna mikes, burst tester, barcode scanner. Understands and ensures Minimum Workmanship Requirements. Understands and uses TEQ terminology Inputs SPC data as requested. Maintain, controls and prints labels Understands and consistently complies with Controlled Environment Procedures. We'd love to hear from you if: 6 months previous production line and inspection experience. Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing environment preferred. Prior knowledge of Measuring Instruments Thermoforming manufacturing equipment Computer, telephone, general office equipment. Use to exposure to heat, greases, and lubricants in a controlled production environment clean, heated and airconditioned office. Can stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, read, write and communicate. Be meticulous with attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills, good manual dexterity and agility. Strong math and problem-solving skills Print reading skills.
