Adecco is hiring a Quality Technician in Rochester, NY!!
Schedule:
Summer: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Fall: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Summary:
As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality through precise measurement and inspection. Your expertise in reading blueprints and using micrometers will be vital in maintaining high standards throughout our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand product specifications.
Measure components using micrometers and other precision measurement tools.
Conduct inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
Work collaboratively with production teams to address quality issues and improve processes.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and measurements.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding quality findings.
Requirements:
Proficiency in using basic hand tools.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience measuring in metric units.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for the duration of the shift.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
