Seeking Mechanical Quality Inspectors for a great opportunity for a full time, 1st shift opportunity with a Manufacturing Company in South Shore, MA!
This position is full time, Monday - Friday working 6:45am-3:15pm with overtime offered every day! This position pays $24/HR to start for candidates willing and able to learn a new skill!
Responsible for reading/understanding/interpreting blueprints/schematics to assemble, rework and/or reassemble units
Ability to read and understand mechanical diagrams and instructions provided
Assemble switches and related equipment
Build components with proper tools provided
Ability to build electrical panels using proper power tools and hardware
Use of hand tools such as soldering irons and grinding tools
Component & wire preparation, soldering, and molding
Wire and cable preparation and finishing
Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards
Notifies management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
Adhere to safety procedures as outlined by company policies
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferred
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to pass preemployment drug and background screenings
Demonstrate good electronics troubleshooting techniques and make repairs
Manually operate test equipment and analyze test data
Ability to read drawings, schematics, bills of materials and work instructions
Experience with cable assembly – hand tools, crimping, testing
