Quotation & Purchasing Associate - Gpac

QUOTATIONS/PURCHASING ASSOCIATE

About Us: We are a fast-paced, industrial equipment supplier in a warehouse environment. We sell aftermarket pump parts and maintain a large inventory for shipping domestically and globally.

The Position: We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter to join our team to build customer sales quotes and process customer purchase orders. This position requires critical thinking skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Supply chain/wholesale purchasing experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities For Quotations/Purchasing Associate:

• Communicate with sales team to understand customer requirements

• Analyze customer requests and prepare accurate & timely price quotes for sales department

• Analyze incoming customer purchase orders and build timely invoices with accurate shipping dates

• Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing & delivery times for items not currently in stock

• Respond to customer inquiries as needed

• Maintain accurate historical records of all quotations issued & purchase orders received

Our team shares Office Administrator duties.

You will be expected to assist with one or more of the following:

• Answer phones

• Order Office Supplies and Monitor Inventory

• Order Promotional Materials

• Assist on Special Projects

• Other Duties (as Assigned)

Skill Requirements For Quotations/Purchasing Associate:

• Strong attention to detail, multitasking & organizational skills

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Supply chain/Wholesale experiences is greatly preferred

• Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred

Day shift - Monday to Friday -  No nights or weekends
