#CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:As the Head of R&D for the Brita business unit (BU), this position is responsible for the execution excellence of R&D efforts to serve the BU goals and strategy
This leader sits on the Brita cross-functional Leadership Team responsible for delivering the annual financial goals and development of the long-range plan
The role will collaborate with cross-functional peers to develop and drive the innovation pipeline, ensure sufficiency, and partner with Supply Chain to execute new launches with excellence
This role is fast-paced, exciting, and integral to the brand’s growth objectives
About Brita: Brita is a leader in water filtration and has been in operation for over 50 years. The brand offers a wide range of water filtration products, including pitchers, dispensers, faucet filters, and water bottles
The Brita business has a strong focus on sustainability, enabling consumers to enjoy their local tap water and avoiding the plastic waste associated with bottled water consumption
As part of the ‘Care & Connect’ group of brands in the Clorox Company portfolio, Brita’s role is to aggressively drive growth by increasing household penetration of filtered water solutions
Position manages 11 people across the R&D organization including product, process, and packaging, and reports to the VP & GM of the Brita Business Unit.Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience is a must.In this role, you will:Be accountable for Business Unit goals and objectives, working collaboratively on LT to build and deliver short- and long-term plans.Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of innovation and margin enhancement initiatives. Incorporate growth stack and digital innovation tools.Ensure all aspects of products (quality, regulatory, etc) are met through both the base renovation and innovation plan. Make certain there is a right level of technical rigor to ensure execution with excellence.Build a culture of inclusivity while inspiring and driving engagement in a high-performing R&D team, while holding them accountable to business results and cross-functional collaboration.
