R&D Technician II at The Fountain Group

Perform tests on medical devices (heart catheters) (mechanical, electrical, conditioning, length, OD, visual) - everything from simple to complex testing. 85/15 lab time/desk time - all work time is on-site. Equipment/tools: caliper, MTS, multimeters, digital thermometers, Force Gage, Cognex, LabView.
 
Qualifications:

• Looking for someone familiar with working in a med device setting, preferably testing, but product assembly experience would also qualify
• Candidate who likes to work with their hands and can stay focused on testing
• Able to follow verbal/written instructions
• Able to clearly communicate ideas, problems and solutions to engineers
• Detail oriented - utilizing good documentation practices
• Works well with a team
• Follows safety guidelines and utilizes appropriate safety devices when performing all tasks that require such precautions
