How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 2 ultrasound rooms
Will they have to float/cover any other areas? ED, inpatient and family birthing
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties ED, OB, inpatient. We don't do Vascular here.. This facility does a lot of US OB exams, General US exams: Abdominal, Thyroids, renals, etc.
Experience or 'Must have' skills Must have GOOD OB experience. Be willing to work independently.
Average # of scans/studies per day Average of 15 exams a day
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use : EPIC, Mckesson (PACS)
Department Specific Equipment (Client, Phillips, Siemens) Phillips
Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Adrienne Turner, Manager
Radiologist in-house? On site 3 days a week, telemedicine Radiologist after hours and when not on-site.
Shifts & Scheduling Evening shift. Monday - Friday 3p-11p
Weekend Requirement call rotation every 3rd weekend required.
Holiday Requirement call rotation required
Call or Standby requirement? Every 3rd weekend for call. Weekend call starts Friday night at 2300 and goes until Monday at 0700.
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? any professional colored scrubs
Department specific orientation approx. 1-2 weeks of orientation approx depending on experience.
