We have an exciting opportunity for a Radar Technician to join our Flight Operations team located in Palmdale, CA.
Under general supervision, this position is responsible troubleshooting, repair, integration and testing, modification and operation of unmanned aerial vehicle electronic equipment to include complex synthetic aperture radar (SAR), airborne sensors, ground control stations, and ground support equipment in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions and technical orders, procedures and regulations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Operation of specialized test equipment in the performance of troubleshooting and maintaining sensors on aircraft and ground systems.
+ Performs operation of sensor systems and workstations during production, flight, and ground acceptance test in accordance with established procedures.
+ Performs installation, configuration and test of computer hardware, software and networked systems. Diagnoses and corrects malfunctions as required.
+ Performs and/or assists in modification, assembly, installation, operation, repair and maintenance of complex equipment.
+ Conducts technical analysis and evaluate product implementation to ensure customer specifications are met.
+ May conduct training and practical instruction of peers and customers in the use of ground and airborne electronic systems.
+ Performs other duties as assigned

+ Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

Job Qualifications:
+ Typically requires an associate's degree or equivalent with five or more years of experience. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
+ Previous Radar/RF experience and the ability to operate common and specialized test equipment is desired.
+ Must be highly proficient in computer applications and network interface applications as well as have the ability to understand schematics/block diagrams.
+ Knowledge and experience of Linux and Windows Operating Systems is highly desirable
+ Certification in A+, Network+ and Security+ is highly desirable.
+ Must have analytical ability to read and understand detailed instructions, drawings and specifications.
+ Must have strong communication skills necessary to write and record precise information.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
