Our radiation oncology cancer program is accredited by the American College of Radiology, which is reflective of the commitment to provide the finest in cancer care to our patients. The Department of radiation oncology provides a full range of radiation oncology services including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, Rapid Arc, Hyperarc, 3D Conformal, Radiotherapy, 4DCT, Cyberknife and Brachytherapy.
Equipment includes:
- Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators with hyperarc capabilities
- 6 Degrees of Freedom Couch
- Varisource HDR
- Somotom Confidence Wide Bore CT Simulator with Varian RPM Gating
- Eclipse RTP system with velocity
We have an experienced radiation oncology staff and a strong referral base.
The radiation oncology South Carolina department is staffed with 6 radiation therapists, a medical physicist, a medical dosimetrist, RN and LPN, Nurse Practitioner, social worker, patient nurse navigator, dietician, administrative support staff, and oncology director.
Bluffton, South Carolina is a quaint town just minutes from Hilton Head Island. Bluffton is filled with gorgeous historic homes and churches, all kinds of artisan shops and wonderful restaurants. Bluffton is known for its eclectic Old Town district and natural views of the May River. It has been called "the last true coastal village of the South."
