Radiation Oncology Medical Director in Exeter, NH
The Department of Radiation Oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston is seeking a faculty member to join a vibrant practice at our community cancer center in Exeter, New Hampshire. The successful candidate will be the Site Director of the radiation oncology program at Exeter Hospital. The cancer center has equipment currently capable of IMRT, SRS, SRT, and SBRT; a brand-new Varian Edge accelerator. There is excellent dosimetry, physics, and radiation therapist support. Exeter Hospital has outstanding medical and surgical oncology programs. Weekly chart rounds will be conducted jointly with other BIDMC and Beth Israel Lahey Health radiation oncologists. You will be part of a very strong and innovative academic faculty group that provides comprehensive radiation therapy services including CyberKnife SRT, HDR and LDR brachytherapy, total body irradiation, and radioablation of cardiac arrhythmogenic foci offered at academic locations. You will work in a very collegial and supportive environment. This role is an employment model position in Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Flexible option to start between 7/1/24 and 10/1/24.
The applicant will be expected to meet the following requirements for employment:
· New Hampshire Medical License
· Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
· Individual Federal DEA
