Position Summary
Under direct supervision of a licensed Radiation Therapist (RTT), a candidate will train to become an RTT using hands on experience with patients, physicians and staff. They will acquire skills in radiation treatment setup and delivery. Communicate with MDs and RNs and the planning staff. They will use this time to hone their skills to be able to pass national accreditation and to secure a future as a Radiation Therapist.Responsibilities
- Daily machine QA for all machines
- Patient setup and treatment on a linear accelerator
- Meet needs of patients with daily assessment for progress and side effects
- Introduction to Dosimetry planning and Physics QA
- Assisting with CT Simulation scanning and setup for preplanning of all diagnosis’s
- Assisting with HDR (Brachytherapy) treatments with MDs and Physics staff
Requirements
- Candidate has been accepted into an accredited school for Radiation Therapy and onboarded by MHS Student Development as a student.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $25.00 - $25.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
