Radiation Therapist

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is engaged in a search for a Radiation Therapist on behalf of our partner, a Level III medical center located in Eureka, CA. This role offers relocation assistance and flexible shift options, including full-time day and part-time day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Monitor and assess patients during treatment to ensure their comfort and safety
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement treatment plans

Required Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of formal therapeutic radiologic technology training at an approved school
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
• California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or
• California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARRT (T) certification required
