Overview
Halifax Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist for our Regional Oncology Department.
Summary
Applies ionizing radiation in the treatment of patients under the direction and upon the prescribed treatment plan of a Radiation Oncologist (M.D.) to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Renders patient care which requires a high degree of responsibility and technical skills to insure the proper treatment and well-being of the patient. Assesses patients medical and emotional needs on a daily basis and notifies physicians and nursing staff of any changes.
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited school of Radiation Therapy.
- Certified by A.R.R.T. as a Radiation Therapist and licensed in the State of FL. to work in therapy.
