Radiation Therapist - Radiation Oncology

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our Dynamic Radiation Oncology team. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
+ Operating radiation therapy equipment, such as Linear Accelerators (LINACs), to administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients diagnosed with cancer.
+ The technician will collaborate with oncologists and medical physicists to ensure accurate treatment delivery, patient positioning, and safety protocols.
+ Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, maintaining records, and ensuring equipment functionality and safety.
Qualifications
+ Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience required.
+ AHA BLS certification required.
+ American Registry of Radiologic
+ Technology California License in Radiation Therapy and California Fluoroscopy License required.
+ Must maintain current Fire Safety cards.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Pay Range
$66.20 - $77.99 /hour
