Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic radiation treatments as prescribed.
- Perform setup and planning procedures to verify the accuracy of treatments.
- Utilize various radiotherapy techniques in alignment with departmental standards.
- Completion of a formal training program in therapeutic radiologic technology from an accredited institution.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification.
- Additional training in specialized diametric techniques and the physics of treatment planning.
