Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for a Radiation Therapist to work onsite at our client's healthcare facility in Rockford, IL.
Shift: Days - 08:00 hr

Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for a Radiation Therapist to work onsite at our client's healthcare facility in Rockford, IL.
Shift: Days - 08:00 hr
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
- Possesses core knowledge of required Radiation Therapist functions, including scheduling, simulation, patient set-up, and treatment.
- Demonstrates a functional knowledge of all major components of department equipment.
- Delivers external beam treatments in an accurate and timely fashion with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assesses and addresses patient's needs while under treatment.
- Practices appropriate Radiation Safety procedures.
- Accurate and timely completion of patient charts according to established standards and procedures.
- Demonstrates knowledge of standard and advanced treatment calculations and treatment plans.
- Designs and fabricates blocks accurately and efficiently.
- Performs Simulation with a high degree of accuracy in a timely fashion with little or no supervision.
- Utilizes appropriate scripting, barriers, and patient identifiers as required per position.
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program.
- Experience as a radiation therapist preferred.
- Radiation certification from ARRT and IEMA required.
- Experience in mid-large hospitals.
