About the Job
Responsibilities:
- The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures , producing images for the interpretation by, or at the Request of a licensed independent practitioner.
- Radiographers demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
- Radiographers must maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique.
- They maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety.
- Radiographers prepare, administer and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy.
- Radiographers remain sensitive to the physical , cultural and emotional needs of the patient through excellent communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring and patient care skills.
Schedule: Primarily Dayshift Monday-Friday (6am or 8:30) start time rotating would need to cover 2nd or 3rd shift including every other weekend variable holiday and on call rotation

- Post High School Diploma Program
Experience
- Relevant Experience
Certification and Licensure
- BLS Certification
- RT (R) ARRT or Certification eligible technologists hired upon graduation pass examination prior to start date
