Position Highlights
Department: Diagnostic Imaging
Hours: 24 hours/week (This is a benefits eligible position).
Shift: Days, 1st Shift
Position Summary:
Using independent judgment performs a wide-range of imaging procedures. Assists physicians and provides patient care essential to imaging procedures. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Applies the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient services. Assists new employees and students in training as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Implements patient procedures in accordance with the health system policies, protocols and standards.
Proficient in the operation of all relevant equipment and computer systems.
Adhere to the prescribed standards of Safety and HIPAA within the Healthcare organization.
Works independently using professional judgment
All other job related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing
State of Connecticut Radiographer License/Eligible
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of RIS/PACS systems
Google experience preferred
CPR certification preferred
AS/BS degree preferred
Good work ethic
