Troy Regional is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist for our Team! The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for the satisfactory independent operation of radiation-producing equipment; and for the performance of routine radiographic procedures including, but not limited to, mobile radiography, and fluoroscopy. The technologist will also be responsible for routine clerical duties including filing, and copying exams and reports. The radiology technologist will know all phases of film printing, storage, and retrieval in the PACS system. This employee will provide services for all inpatients and outpatients of all age groups in a timely and professional manner. This position will assist the Radiologist with any diagnostic examination, keep the radiographic rooms well stocked with needed supplies, and complete all necessary paperwork, history sheets, and computerized e-forms to provide well-documented patient care.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
2. Experience in a hospital setting and CT are preferred.
3. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards.
4. Must be mature and able to work in stressful situations.
5. Have the ability to work independently professionally and thoroughly.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATES: ARRT certification in radiology or registry eligible. Registry-eligible candidates must have passed the ARRT registry within 1 year to maintain employment. BLS required.
