Job Title: Lead Radiologic Technologist
Role Overview:
As a Lead Radiologic Technologist, you will oversee the daily operations of radiologic technologists in your area. Your responsibilities will include managing the mobile X-Ray and EKG services, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging, and assisting with operational management and staff coordination. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit them for interpretation.
- Equipment Management: Transport and set up portable X-Ray equipment at patient locations as required by physicians, ensuring technically competent and diagnostically accurate images.
- EKG Procedures: Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results for interpretation.
- Documentation: Complete and manage paperwork related to exams and billing. Retrieve and deliver necessary documents to facilities or offices.
- Operational Management:
- Enter patient demographics and scan/transmit films to the reading center.
- Conduct quarterly image reviews for quality assurance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Cross-train technical staff across all applicable modalities.
- Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct monthly checks on DR/CR equipment and ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
- Team Support:
- Work with the Area Operations Manager to ensure proper scheduling and customer service levels.
- Provide on-call assistance as needed.
- Report client concerns and other relevant information directly to the Area Operations Manager.
- Offer additional support to the Area Operations Manager as needed.
Schedule and Shift Details:
- Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)
- Hourly Rate: $43.00
- Possible Relocation: Discussed during the interview
- State Licensure Reimbursement: Available after 90 days of employment
Qualifications Required:
- Experience:
- 1+ years in any of the following:
- Meditech RAD – Radiology
- Mammography
- Radiology
- 1+ years in any of the following:
- Echocardiogram (echo)
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
- Echocardiography
- Certifications:
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Licenses:
- Valid Regular Driver License (DL)
- Vaccination:
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination is required. Proof must be included with your application. Exemption requests must be supported by proper documentation.

Physical Demands:
- The role involves pushing/pulling weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. Weight handling may be reduced with the use of equipment ramps and pulleys, but may increase when maneuvering equipment within facilities or homes. The force required can reach 50 lbs or more up to 24 times per day.
