SHIFT: FRI-SUN 7 PM-7:30 AM / 36 HOURS / FULL-TIME



LOCATION: EMORY HILLANDALE HOSPITAL

+ Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) for diagnostic purposes. + Provides quality patient care, positions patient and adjusts equipment to produce high quality images. + Effectively communicates with patients, family and other health care team members. + Performs routine, portable, operating room, and fluoroscopic procedures to produce radiologic images.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and at a minimum be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) . + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required. + Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience.

Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
