Come join our extraordinary team! As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced Health Physicists and Radiological Calibration Technicians. In this role you will support the accredited Ionizing Radiation Calibration Facility. Responsibilities
+ Perform Calibration, Quality Control and Research & Development irradiations for the Landauer External Dosimetry program.
+ Perform irradiations for the Fluke Instrument Calibration program.
+ Assist the Ionizing Radiation Calibration Facility Technical Expert and Radiation Safety Officer in maintaining regulatory and accreditation compliance.
+ Champion continuous improvement for your organization, using the Fortive Business System (FBS) toolbox.
Qualifications
+ Required: High School Diploma
+ Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Medical Radiation Technology or related field.
+ Experience with or an understanding of Radiation Measurement, Health Physics, Shielding or Dosimetry preferred.
+ Must be willing and able to complete Trustworthiness and Reliability determination per 32 Illinois Administrative Code 337.
+ Experience working both independently and with a team.
