We are searching for a Radiology-CT Technologist
Hours: 24hrs
Shift: Night shift 11p-7a. Weekend and holiday rotation
Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA

- $6,000 with 1+ years of CT experience
- $4,500 with 0-1 years of CT experience
- Must be a new hire OR a rehire termed greater than 1 year to be eligible

Responsibilities:Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within radiography and computed tomography as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Responsible for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patient's chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others and aware of MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures.
Qualifications:- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and attainment of primary certification within one year of eligibility and post-primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography, RT(CT). (Post-primary certification in the advanced practice discipline of CT is required for RT's within one year of eligibility and/or per RT licensure in MA or RI).
- Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
