Summary:
This position is responsible for performing imaging procedures according to established standards and procedures in areas where proficiency has been attained and verified. This position reports to the Team Lead or Manager.

Responsibilities:
* Perform imaging procedures and produce high quality diagnostic imaging; maintain consistent knowledge and skill level to meet diagnositic evaluation expectations. Complete radiobioassay activities. Communicate and collaborate with the leadership and staff in other departments to facilitate optimuum patient care. Complete documentation of all activities according to established criteria.
* Adhere to department/hospital policies, procedures, and processes regarding quality assurance, quality improvement, radiation safety, patient flow and other issues. Complete required QA as appropriate.
* Participate in training programs to develop additional skills and/or to enhance existing skills; obtain/maintain appropriate license and certification. Participate/cooperate with all other department/hospital processes/activities as appropriate including staff meetings and radiation safety committee meetings.
* Ability to meet physical and non-physical demands as outlined in the job description.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

You may be required to float occasionally to other Children's Health locations including Dallas, Plano and THD Clinics.(Start time hours can be discussed during interviews)

* Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience Req
* Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Pref

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
* Current CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or current ARRT(N) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Req
* Current TX MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) license issued by the Texas Medical Board Req
* Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Requirements Req
