Breast Radiologist
Due to continued growth, UVA Community Health is searching for a new radiologist. We are seeking an ABR board eligible/certified fellowship-trained radiologist in Breast Imaging to join an expanding program in imaging services that includes Prince William Medical Center and Haymarket Medical Center. This position will offer the opportunity for consistent Biopsy, Diagnostic and Screening Mammography services to ensure we meet the needs of our community. Our team includes three MD's and a strong support staff including a Mammography Tech and Radiology Analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform breast related procedures including US, MRI and mammographic guided biopsies and wire/SAVI localizations
- Reading screens and performing diagnostic exams
- Work independently if Sonographer is not available
- Involvement in monthly tumor boards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary group including Surgeons, Oncologists and Pathologists
- Access to ancillary services including Hologic 3D mammography, Affirm Bx system, DEXA, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine
- Average daily census is 33
