JOB TITLE: Radiology Tech / ARRT / Multi Modality / Interventional Radiology

POSITION SUMMARY: Radiology Tech / ARRT / Multi Modality / Interventional Radiology performs a variety of technical procedures which may include: M.R.I., CAT Scan, Routine Radiography and Angiography. The Tech - Multi Modality should be proficient in two areas, including Radiography.

KEY PERFORMANCE FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Tech - Multi Modality will comply with approved standards in patient safety, radiation protection, infection control and environment control. Provides an environment conducive to safety and comfort of patients, staff and visitors. Utilizes the appropriate leadership skills in supervising students and providing feedback concerning their performance. Has the ability to train fellow technologists in their particular modality. Has communication and problem resolution skills and is a professional role model.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
• Maintains Current: American Registry of Radiology Technologist
• State of Texas General Radiology License (Texas Medical Board)
• BLS from the American Heart Association (or obtained during orientation) and maintain certification throughout employment
